The Alabama State Council on the Arts recently hosted the Poetry Out Loud State Finals at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, where high school students from across the state wowed the audience with their poetic prowess in three categories: Original Composition, Social Issue Original Composition, and National Anthology Recitation.
