Please join us in congratulating the following ASFA Math and Science students who participated in the Alabama Regional Science Bowl in Mobile last Saturday:

ASFA 1 emerged victorious in the final round against Liberty Middle from Madison and will represent both the state of Alabama and ASFA at the National Science Bowl National Finals in Washington, D.C., from April 25 to 29.

This marks the fifth time in the past six years that ASFA Math-Science Middle School has won the regional competition for the National Science Bowl, an impressive feat! The Department of Energy will cover all expenses for the trip (see press release for the winning team). A second ASFA team was placed third in the state, and congratulations to them for their hard work.
